We are urging CWLA members and other child advocates to submit a letter to the editor of your local news outlets. This is an important element of our advocacy on behalf of child welfare finance reform especially as the economy continues to pose enormous challenges for families.
Writing op-eds, letters-to-the editor or even responding online in the comment sections of related articles are important tactics in capturing the attention of the voting public and legislators in an effort to protect programs that serve children and families.
If you get published, please send a link to firstname.lastname@example.org, so we can include your piece in CWLA’s Member Connect. For tips on how to submit an op-ed or letter to the editor and key talking points, please visit the CWLA These Cuts Won’t Heal Action Page (PDF)!
