CWLA is encouraging member agencies and all human service providers to be engaged in the election process this year. We recently held a webinar that offered participants tips and suggestions on how to get started. We have posted a number of materials from the webinar and other useful information and advocacy resources on our website. Here you will find information regarding candidates’ position on the issues, suggestions for helping clients find polling places, do’s and don’ts in regards to engaging with candidates, and many other essential tools. Many of these resources are from NonProfit VOTE and the Coalition on Human Needs which are national leaders in working with many public service groups in this effort. Participating in the electoral process is something we all should take seriously. Please join us in urging all those you work with to be an active citizen this election season.
