CWLA is a powerful coalition of hundreds of private and public agencies serving vulnerable children and families since 1920. Our expertise, leadership and innovation on policies, programs, and practices help improve the lives of millions of children. CWLA welcomes and appreciates your donations to continue our work on behalf of children and families.
The Children’s Monitor, which summarizes federal policy in progress and analyzes its impact on child welfare, began as a printed newsletter and for the past decade has been delivered electronically. In order to provide more timely updates to our readers—who are legislators and aides, leaders of think tanks and child-serving agencies, frontline workers and everyday advocates—the Monitor has published as a blog since summer 2011. Staff from CWLA’s advocacy and government affairs division write the posts.
